Is it just me, or are the writers infusing alot of scenes in season 5 with borderline-Chlark stuff? It could be just because she knows his secret, he knows she knows, and they can both be a lot more open with each other now, but still...that alone might tend to draw them in a romantic direction were it not for Clark's established relationship with Lana.
Now, I tend to ship ambiguously. I think Clana, Chlark, and Clois are all valid for different reasons. I tend to wander back and forth among the three depending on what mood I'm in and, to a lesser extent, what happens in the series. Although I never completely abandon a ship, which ship I focus on is kind of sporadic.
Season 5 kind of puts me in a Chlarky mood. Chloe's devotion to and acceptance of Clark and his secret is remarkable, to the point that it almost doesn't make sense that Clark is romantically attached to the girl with whom he can't completely be himself and just friends with the one with whom he can (especially since they're both about equally attractive physically). It almost seems that Clark would be much smarter to either give a relationship with Chloe a chance or give Lana a chance to learn and accept his secret.
